At Flotation Systems, Inc. we have several roof & decking systems available for your aluminum dock. You can choose from our standard roof systems or we can customize a roof system for you. For our Hip Roofs, Gables and Sundeck Combos we use only the toughest and most durable Metal Roofing available. For all upper deck docks we used our patented LockDry® decking. The roofing and decking materials have been tested to withstand thousands of hours of extreme sunlight, humidity and salt spray test. These materials also have a high resistance to stains, dirt and marring.

Decking Details |
| When we started designing the first all aluminum boat dock is was only right to develop an aluminum decking to complement the maintenance free design. Our design team created two profiles; Marine Decking and LockDry® Decking. For a guaranteed waterproof overhead deck on a sundeck or sundeck combo dock, LockDry® Aluminum Decking is used keeping you and your boat completely dry. Our marine decking is primarily used on single level docks, ramps, and stationary platforms. Both decking products share all the excellent features below! |
- Our Aluminum Decking is light-weight, yet it is stronger than wood or vinyl which allows for a span of up to 36" centers.
- The Aluminum Decking will remain strong, cool and maintenance free - unlike vinyl which may become brittle and chalky or wood that will splinter, requires much maintenance, and will retain heat.
- Textured finish prevents slipping in wet conditions.
- Durable powder coat finish has withstood over 16 years of heavy use in high-traffic marine environments. Our 'Powder Coat Finish' is up to 3 times the thickness of conventional baked-on enamel finishes.
- For those who want the look of wood, we offer "Golden Clay" so our customers have 3 colors to choose from.
- Meets or Exceeds AAMA 2603 for Salt Spray Resistance and Outdoor Exposure testing in South Florida.
